Scrap is a project that lets me use scrap fabrics, plastics, paper and other fun baubles to create scrappy, colorful collage in sculpture form. My business Jumbo Jibbles has used acrylic fleece fabric, which is not recyclable, and to alleviate that I am using it to build up these sculptures. I also collect fabric remnants from other artists. This has helped me meet new people. Scrap is moving into the fashion/costume territory. I taught this class for the first time at Cazadero Performing Arts Family Camp in August 2024. It's hard to properly describe something new that doesn't fit in a general visual arts framework, but after a few days more people started to drop in when they saw how vibrant the work was.​
